We were formed following four years of continuous, embedded work supporting a leading international media organisation across Ukraine.

Extensive travel, close integration with editorial teams and responsibility for planning activity in changing conditions provided the practical foundation for the business. That experience shaped the company’s standards, operating methods and understanding of what effective client support requires.

Operational Understanding

Years of continuous travel across Ukraine developed more than familiarity with the security environment. They provided an understanding of how infrastructure, logistics, access, local networks and regional conditions influence operational planning.

That experience allows us to provide context alongside risk assessment, helping clients make informed operational decisions based on practical knowledge rather than isolated information.

Leadership

Jack is the founder of JB Risk Advisory. He holds senior qualifications in risk management, complemented by service in the British Parachute Regiment and experience in the private security sector.

Throughout his career, he has supported international media organisations, engineering projects and explosive ordnance disposal teams, applying the same measured approach to risk management across a diverse range of operational environments..
