Founded on practical experience supporting organisations operating across Ukraine since the full scale invasion, our approach is grounded in current conditions, trusted local networks and operational understanding developed on the ground.
We support reconstruction activity, international organisations, project teams and media deployments through risk management, journey management, crisis response support and in country coordination.

Founder
Jack served in the British Army’s Parachute Regiment and completed multiple operational tours of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, before moving into armed protective security roles across Iraq, including Erbil, Mosul, and Basra, working on EOD-related projects and alongside international companies within high-risk environments.
Since the full-scale invasion in 2022, he has served as the lead security advisor in Ukraine for The Washington Post, overseeing the safety and movement of editorial teams working across some of the country’s most hostile areas.
He later established JB Risk Advisory to provide operational support, risk management, and in-country coordination for organisations working in Ukraine and other complex environments.
